Employee's arm fractured by sliding tank rack

Employee #1, of Ramos Oil Co., was unloading a portable storage tank rack from the bed of his truck using the rear automated raising/lowering gate. The tank rack slid from its position, striking the employee on his upper arm. Foothill Ambulance was summoned, arrived, rendered aid, and sped the employee to Sutter Davis Hospital. He was treated for a fractured upper arm and then released to his home for rest and recuperation. He has returned to work.
