Employee injured when forklift and manbasket tip over

At 5:20 p.m. on November 12, 1990, Employee #1, a warehouseman, was riding in a manbasket held aloft by a Toyota fork truck. A combination of the weight of the basket, the righting arm movement, braking action, surface grade, and the vehicle turning resulted in the unit tipping over. Employee #1 was taken to HCD Medical Center and Hospital, where he remained for 2 days for observation.
