Employee burned when stuck in corrugating machine

Employee #1, of Georgia Pacific Corp., a double backer operator of an S & S corrugating machine, was threading bottom plain paper. His right hand was drawn in the feed nip and became stuck. Heat from the hot plates severely burned his hand and forearm before they could be withdrawn. The point of operation guard was inadequate to prevent the operator's hand from entering the danger zone.
