Employee falls to his death exiting the wrong door of train

At about 6:30 a.m. on October 5, 1993, Employee #1 was driving a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train into the Daly City station. After stopping the train and letting the passengers disembark, he closed the doors and exited the train, using the car door opposite to the passenger platform. The door opened over a parking area 23 feet below the elevated tracks. Employee #1 fell to the parking area and died from his injuries.
