Employee's leg broken in fall from ladder

Employee #1 was standing on an 8 ft commercial stepladder pulling cable through the suspended ceiling of a small conference room. As he turned around to finish the pull, he was facing outward away from the stepladder, and took a step down. He missed the rung of the stepladder, lost his balance, and fell to the floor. He suffered multiple fractures of the right lower leg.
