EMPLOYEE FALLS WHEN STRUCK BY TRUSS

EMPLOYEE #1 WAS TRYING TO PUT A TRUSS IN PLACE WHEN THE CRANE OPERATOR MISJUDGED, DUE TO THE SUN SHINING IN HIS EYES, AND BUMPED A TRUSS INTO EMPLOYEE #1. THIS CAUSED EMPLOYEE #1 TO FALL TO THE DECK BELOW, A DISTANCE OF 13 FEET 10 INCHES. EMPLOYEE #1 BROKE HIS LEFT ELBOW AND WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR A FEW DAYS.
