Employee hospitalized after falling from platform

The employer is an employment agency that hires people and leases their services to other firms. Employee #1 was working as a tool crib attendant at a metal products manufacturer. He was instructed to place empty folded cardboard boxes on the top of a 12 ft high platform that did not have guardrails. He climbed to the platform using a ladder. A coworker raised pallets of boxes to the platform and Employee #1 removed and stacked them. As he moved to the pallet, Employee #1 fell from the platform. He was hospitalized.
