Employee is struck and killed by tree

Employee #1 was felling timber within two tree lengths of his partner. His partner felled an approximately 150 ft tall fir tree. The large fir tree struck a smaller cottonwood tree. The force of the falling tree broke the dogwood off at its roots and knocked it over in the direction of Employee #1. The dogwood hit Employee #1 on the head. He was pronounced dead at the site.
