Employee suffers multiple fractures in fall from roof

Employee #1 was one of a crew of three working on the 27 1/2 ft high roof of a warehouse repairing a skylight. He was leaning over the skylight applying patching material. When he had finished, Employee #1 attempted to stand but lost his balance and fell forward through the skylight to the floor of the warehouse. Employee #1 was hospitalized with multiple fractures to his back, wrist, and foot. No adequate fall protection was provided.
