Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was a general sales manager for a lodge/motel and on duty 24 hours a day. She and the general manager were working and Employee #1 took a break to walk her dog. She went back to her apartment, which was on the premises. Apparently, she was holding the dog and walking toward the stairs when she lost her balance and fell backward. She suffered a fractured skull and was dead at the scene. The stairs were in good condition.
