Employee Dies After Being Struck by a Steel Beam

An employee was changing a bar code stamping plate used for putting production lot numbers onto newly formed steel beams. The employee performed the task while the production line was active. As the employee was changing the plate, the employee's leg was struck by a beam traveling down the conveyor. The employee died from massive blood loss.
