Employee collapses and dies in forest
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on May 17, 2004, Employee #1, a trail crew foreman, was performing trail rehabilitation work with a crew in the Trinity Alps Wilderness in the Klamath National Forest when he collapsed and died. The crew did not have portable radios at the site.
