EMPLOYEE KILLED IN FALL THROUGH ROOF OPENING

At approximately 1:00 p.m. Employee #1 was working on the roof of a residential construction job. Employee #1 was standing on a piece of sheeting that had been "tacked-in" at the corners by nails. Employee #1 was trying to straighten out one truss that had was not aligned properly when he slipped on the piece of sheeting and fell 20 ft through the roof opening to the concrete floor. Employee #1 was killed in the fall.
