Investigation Summary
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on July 14, 2015, Employee #1 was riding on the rear passenger side of a garbage truck. The driver of the garbage truck was backing the truck into an alleyway. As the truck was backing up, the truck hit the side of a building, pinning Employee #1 between the truck and the building. Employee #1 then fell to the ground. The truck struck and ran over him and caused multiple blunt force traumas to his torso and killing him.
