Employee killed in fall from conveyor

At 2:05 p.m. on July 3, 1991, Employee #1 fell from the safety guard that runs under the conveyor to prevent television picture tubes from falling to the floor. As he fell, he struck his head on an overhead light and then landed on his shoulder and the side of his head. Employee #1 died at 1:30 a.m. on July 4, 1991, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.
