Investigation Summary

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on July 9, 1989, Employee #1 was seen wading or swimming in a small manmade lake at a sub-division where he had worked cleaning debris from building sites. At approximately 3:45 p.m. he was told by the owner to stop working and go home for the day. The sub-division is approximately 700 ft from the lake. At approximately 9:00 a.m. on July 10, 1989, Employee #1's car was on the job site and his boots were found at the edge of the lake. Police divers recovered the body from 12 ft of water at 10:00 am.
