EMPLOYEE KILLED WHEN WIND SHEER POLES FELL FROM TRAILER

Employee #1 was attempting to position the crane operator into position to off-load the windsheet poles. A truck driver for Powell Trucking Company prematurely loosened the bands that hold the poles onto the trailer prior to the crane operator unhooking the cables around the poles. When this occurred, the load shifted and fell onto Employee #1 and crushed him to death.
