ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE

A power line worker was repairing a downed overhead power line during a storm. The employee was working from the bucket of an aerial lift, and the power line was energized at the utility pole where he was working. The aerial lift truck overturned while he was in the bucket. Although the employee was not injured as a result of the fall, he was electrocuted. (The exact cause of the electric shock was not reported.)
