Event: 05/24/1995
Employee killed by moving saw blade used to cut logs

At approximately 5:15 p.m. on May 24, 1995, Employee #1 was working near a cut-off saw. He either fell from the platform onto a stationary blade leaning against the building, or was struck by the moving blade that had been mounted to cut logs. There were no witnesses. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital and died on June 22, 1995. He suffered head lacerations, but cause of death has yet to be determined.
