Employee killed when buried by a trench wall cave-in

Employee #1 was operating a tracked dozer to restore a farm pond dam. He dismounted the dozer for an unknown reason and entered the trench. He was standing between the dozer and blade when the trench wall caved in and buried Employee #1 up to his neck. The coworker was attempting to rescue him when a second collapse occurred and covered Employee #1 with approximately 6 feet of soil. He died.
