Employee's fingers injured when caught in crumble roller

On December 28, 1993, Employee #1 was loosening fat balls from a crumble roller when his hand and wrist were caught in the machine. He was transported to the hospital, where two fingers were amputated. The crumble roller was not de-energized when the incident occurred.
