Employee crushed to death by rolling root wad

Employee #1 was helping a friend load a log that he had purchased from the USFS. When the log was pulled to the road by a pickup winch a large root rolled down the steep, brushy hills. The root wad rolled sideways and crushed Employee #1 to death.
