Employee #1 was operating a Gluco electronic press E5 making plastic electronic components. The employee had one hand on the switch and her other hand on the mold. The switch was activated while her hand was still on the mold under the machine. The air-operated machine came down and amputated Employee #1's right index and middle fingertips.
