EMPLOYEE CATCHES LOWER ARM IN MOVING PARTS OF DOUGH MIXER

Employee #1, who worked for Chun King Corporation, was cleaning a noodle dough mixing machine. Employee #1 activated the mixer switch with his left hand, while reaching into the mixer with his right hand to brush some flour off the side. One of the mixer paddles struck his right hand above the wrist, and punctured his lower arm, fracturing it. The mixer stopped after Employee #1 was caught in the moving parts. He was hospitalized with a fractured lower arm.
