Employee killed when struck by falling 1,000 lb bundle

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on January 13, 1989, Employee #1 was on the ground loading window frames while employees of another company were moving 1,000 lb bundles of computer floor from the fifth to the fourth floor. A bundle slipped out of the synthetic slings and fell 60 ft, striking Employee #1, who was killed instantly.
