ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE

DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OVERHEAD POWER LINE, A POWER LINE WORKER HAD CLIMBED A POLE TO STAPLE MOLDING OVER A GROUNDING CABLE. AS HE WAS CLIMBING THE POLE, THE EMPLOYEE CONTACTED A 7200-VOLT SECONDARY POWER LINE THAT WAS ALSO SUPPORTED BY THE POLE. HE WAS ELECTROCUTED.
