Employee killed by boom of falling crane

Employee #1 was on a tank barge while the operator of a 25-ton Grove wheel-mounted crane was preparing to hoist a 55-gallon drum of waste oil from the barge. The operator exceeded the on- rubber lifting capacity; as a result the crane tipped over and the boom struck and killed Employee #1.
