Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a garbage collector, died he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. He drove a rear loader truck and had pulled off the west bound lane of a state road at a pick up site. He walked across the west and east bound lanes, brought a toter back to the truck, emptied it, and proceeded to cross the road again to return the toter when he was suddenly struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle headed east bound.
