Employee dies of heart attack
Employee #1, a maintenance technician, had just finished changing a screen in a centrifuge at a sugar refinery. He was riding a bike when he collapsed and died. The St. James Parish Coroner reported that the employee died of a heart attack. The heart attack was not work-related.
