CONSTRUCTION EMPLOYEE INJURED IN FALL FROM ROOF

EMPLOYEE #1 WAS NAILING A 2 BY 4 INCH "KICKER" TWO FEET AWAY FROM THE EDGE OF A ROOF HAVING AN 8/12 PITCH. THE ROOF'S EDGE WAS TWELVE FEET ABOVE THE GROUND. FOR UNKNOWN REASONS, AS EMPLOYEE #1 WAS NAILING DOWN THE KICKER HE FELL FROM THE ROOF 12 FEET TO THE GROUND. HE SUFFERED A BROKEN ANKLE.
