Employee dies in fall through wall opening

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 17, 1993, Employee #1, who had been leaning out an unguarded window wall opening to talk to a passer-by, may have slipped on an inadequately secured radiator pipe opening. He fell 12 ft 4 1/2 in. out the bottom half of the opening, which measured 2 ft 6 1/2 in. wide by5 ft 2 in. high, to a concrete patio/porch surface. Employee #1 died of multiple traumatic injuries to external and internal body parts at 11:50 a.m. on May 18, 1993.
