Investigation Summary
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 1987, Employee #1, an experienced handyman carpenter who worked as needed for Shamrock Enterprises, was stripping and cleaning material from an unguarded 23 ft wide by 8 1/2 ft high platform. He fell from the platform, striking his head on the compacted ground. Employee #1 died of a fractured skull.
