Employee dies after falling through skylight

At 8:15 a.m. (break time), Employee #1 sat on the edge of a plexiglass skylight located on the roof and removed his shoe and sock. The skylight broke and Employee #1 fell backward through the skylight to the gym floor, approximately 32 feet, landing on his head and shoulder. He died from his injuries.
