Employees killed when struck by vehicle

Employees #1 and #2 had obtained a soil sample from their work site and were returning to their vehicle. They walked across the interstate highway, across the shoulder to the frontage road where their vehicle was parked. Employees #1 and #2 stepped in front of an on-coming vehicle and were struck and killed.
