Investigation Summary
At approximately 10:30 a.m. on December 3, 1994, Employee #1, the proprietor of the company, with the assistance of the site building superintendent, was measuring the area of a 35 ft by 73 ft roof. While measuring along the length, Employee #1 backed off the unprotected rear of the slightly sloped roof and fell approximately 45 feet to a concrete walk in the backyard. EMS was called and treated him at the scene. Employee #1 was pronounced dead upon his arrival at Kings County Hospital.
