Abstract: At approximately 1:05 p.m. on February 27, 2006, Employee #1 was working at the box former across from the "Doboy" #1 when he heard the "Doboy" #1 making noises. Employee #1 attempted to grease the gears with a grease gun. In addition to rotating, the gears of that machine also move up and down. Employee #1 was wearing latex gloves at the time. As Employee #1 was attempting to grease the gears, the gears caught his glove and pulled his right hand in. Employee #1 received a partial amputation to his right forefinger. Employee #1 was treated for his injury but was not hospitalized.
