Abstract: At 3:00 p.m. on July 15, 2003, Employee #1 and Employee #2 were placing a pump, weighing approximately 1,868 lbs. suspended from an overhead crane, into a press. As the two employees were maneuvering the pump casing into position it inadvertently swung from side to side, crushing one hand of each employee. Employee #1 and Employee #2 were hospitalized for treatment of their crushed hands.
