In accordance with OSHA's temporary enforcement policy dated June 20, 2014, compliance with this version of 29 CFR 1910.269 will be accepted as compliance with the current versions of 29 CFR 1910.269 and 29 CFR 1926, Subpart V through October 31, 2014.

The national consensus standards referenced in this appendix contain detailed specifications that employers may follow in complying with the more performance-oriented requirements of OSHA's final rule.
