Abstract: Revises 1917.1(a)(2) by adding a new paragraph (ix) Grain handling facilities.
Abstract: This notice extends the comment period for written responses to OSHA's notice of proposed rulemaking for grain handling facilities (49 FR 996, January 6, 1984). Written comments must be received by June 8, 1984.
Abstract: Amends Part 1917.1 to include reference to 1910.177 such that marine terminal employers would be required to comply with the provisions of that section. Part 1917.1 contains lists of the limited number of Part 1910 provisions having application at marine terminals. Comments, objections and requests for hearing must be postmarked by September 24, 1986.
