SUBJECT:        Crane Speeds

Title 29 CFR 1910.179(e)(2) and (e)(3) states, among things, that bumpers or equivalent are required on crane bridges and trolleys unless operated at a "slow" rate of speed. "Slow" is not defined in the standard.
