To provide the OSHA Education Center students and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers. Particularly by reducing and preventing exposure to prevalent health and safety hazards in general and construction industries, and by enhancing their understanding of the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers

Evaluations
The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium and the OSHA Region 7 office have worked very closely to assure delivery on the key objectives. Contributions to the current evaluation and status of progress were provided by all member organizations.
Upcoming Milestones
The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium will continue to support the Alliance Agreement with the OSHA Region 7. Activities will be include the above objectives. The Great Plains OSHA Education Center consortium with continue its monthly teleconferences and quarterly reviews of progress in support of the key objectives

In February 2006, the Nebraska Animal Slaughtering and Processing Industry (NASPI), the Nebraska Workforce Development (NWFD) OSHA Consultation Program, and OSHA's Region VII Omaha Area Office, developed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP). The main purpose of the NASPI OSP is to recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster a culture of injury and illness prevention and promote safe and healthful working conditions.
In April 2007, Clayco Construction, Inc., St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council, and the Carpenters' District Council of Greater St. Louis formed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) with OSHA's Region VII St. Louis Area Office to promote safety and health during the construction of the St. Louis University Arena project. The project consists of constructing a 10,600 seat basketball arena and practice facility located in the midtown area of the city, near the intersection of Compton Avenue and Interstate 64/Highway 40.
Recognizing the need for a safe and healthy work environment for employees working at the New Pfizer Research Building construction site in Chesterfield Missouri, Gilbane Tarlton Joint Venture and OSHA's Region VII's St. Louis Area Office formed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) in February 2007.
To ensure that the construction of the Missouri Baptist Medical Center West Pavilion would provide a safe work environment for all employees, Clayco/Legacy Missouri Baptist 1, LLC; Murphy Company, Sachs Electric; and OSHA's St. Louis Area Office, signed an OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) on August 3, 2010. The Partnership had the support from the Missouri Baptist Medical Center; Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum; KJWW Engineering Consultants; Associated General Contractors of St. Louis; the St.
The Kansas City Area Office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Walton Construction, Hunt Construction Group, and the Builders' Association, as well as subcontractors working on the project recognized the need for a safe and healthy worksite. The main goal of this OSHA Strategic Partnership (OSP) was to ensure a safe working environment for all employees involved in the Kauffman Stadium Renovation Project. The project encompassed the renovation of the Kauffman Stadium ballpark for the Kansas City Royals.
