Ideal Aerosmith designs and manufactures motion simulation test systems to support the development, testing, and evaluation of inertial navigation devices and guidance systems required by the commercial and defense industries.

Ideal Aerosmith learned of the ND On-Site Consultation Program (NDOSH) and has been working with NDOSH since 2023.

The partnership with Consultation helped the company:

• Decrease reportable injuries and near misses.
• Increase emphasis on hazard awareness through its Safety Alert program.
• Add a continuous improvement program, which incorporates a bi-weekly GEMBA walk that has a Safety focus.
• Improve overall safety culture.

The Grand Forks facility achieved Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program status in 2025.

The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) acknowledges small and medium-sized businesses that have used OSHA On-Site Consultation Program services and operate exemplary workplace safety and health programs.
