  • Certifying employees in the American Heart Association CPR, AED, First Aid, and American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed.
  • Strategically placed AEDs around the facility.
  • Providing enhanced support for employees’ mental health.
  • Conduct monthly safety audits using Safety Reports app and website.
  • Installing Vision Plus cameras to ensure enhanced safety on forklift trucks.
  • Establishing an internal safety award given quarterly to an employee that shows safety excellence.

GSW-LA has seen more employee involvement including an increase in identifying and reporting safety hazards, and overall cost saving as it relates to safety. The company plans on working with consultation into the future.
