Everett J. Prescott Inc. (Team EJP) is one of the largest privately owned waterworks distributors in the country. They sell water, wastewater, stormwater, and smart utility solutions with a customer base of water/sewer districts, municipalities, utilities, and construction contractors.

Team EJP made safety a core value in 2000, investing in their first full-time safety director, and relying heavily on assistance from Maine 21d SafetyWorks! On-Site Consultation Program.

Through their partnership with the consultation program Team EJP has:

• Lowered injury and severity rates.
• Educated and trained employees how to empower employees with authority to get safety issues resolved.
• Raised Awareness of the SHARP Program and how it can increase employee perception. 

Team EJP has achieved SHARP status since 2009.

The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) acknowledges small and medium-sized businesses that have used OSHA On-Site Consultation Program services and operate exemplary workplace safety and health programs.
