Clemens Aviation, a family-owned operation in Wichita, Kansas, collaborated with the Kansas Department of Labor – Industrial Safety and Health Division to continue improving their safety and health program.

Through the process of working together Clemens was able to:

• Implement new programs to enhance workplace safety and efficiency,
• Emphasize employee involvement to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and
• Improve documentation and overall safety within our company.

Clemens Aviation received Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) status in February of 2025. Their family-owned experience includes expertise in aircraft sales, aircraft management, flight testing, maintenance, and airport development.

The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) acknowledges small and medium-sized businesses that have used OSHA On-Site Consultation Program services and operate exemplary workplace safety and health programs.
