29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): When an employee was not protected against electric shock by de-energizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means, the employer permitted an employee to work in proximity to a part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work: This violation occurred on or about April 13, 2014, in building #208; where at least one (1) employee was not protected against electrical shock when installing a 400 Amp switch into an energized 480-VAC switchgear.
