29 CFR 1910.1026(l)(2)(i)(B): The employer did not provide appropriate information and training for all employees exposed to chromium (VI) in that employees could not demonstrate knowledge of the purpose and description of the requirements for a medical surveillance program as outlined by the Chromium (VI) standard, 29 CFR 1910.1026(k): a) Spray painting booth, on or about 3/26/14: A spray painter overexposed to chromium (VI) while applying chromated epoxy polyamide yellow primer to helicopter parts was not provided with information and training on medical surveillance for exposures to chromium (VI). See Citation 1, Item 1a, for exposure levels. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
