Title 40.1-51.1(a), Code of Virginia: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: Throughout this establishment, the seatbelts installed on the two Nissan propane powered industrial trucks, Optimum 30 and Enduro 50, and being used in material handling operations, were not worn by the operators. "One feasible and acceptable abatement methods, among others, to correct this hazard is to require powered industrial truck operators to wear seatbelts when the truck is equipped with them."ed
