29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator was fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter. On or about November 8, 2021, employees were required to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators including, but not limited to, Makrite Sekura N95, to protect employees from exposure to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Certified nursing assistants had not been medically evaluated and fit tested prior to the required respirator use, in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.134. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
