29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Farmville Lakes subdivision; Lot 51 Cloverdale Drive: On September 11, 2020 The employer required that employees work in an unfinished attic approximately 9.5 feet above the ground of a new construction one story dwelling to install new HVAC systems and subsequent duct work without ensuring that his employees were utilizing fall protection at all times exposing the employees to hazards associated with falls.
